If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Parish Office or submit the online form below. Training is provided for all ministries.
Altar Server
Altar servers have the privilege of assisting the priest in the sanctuary, during the Mass, and other liturgical functions. Servers carry the Cross, candles, hold the Roman Missal (the book the priest reads from), incense, and assists in setting the altar during the Preparation of the Gifts. Servers must have already received their First Communion.
Lectors
Lectors proclaim the Scripture Readings used in the Liturgy of the Word (readings).
Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers play an important role during the Mass by helping distribute the sacred Body and Blood of Christ. Captain (first name on list) helps clean up after Mass.
Sacristans
Before Mass, they arrange the liturgical books, sacred vessels, and items needed in the celebration of the Mass and sacraments. After Mass, they help clean up.
Ushers
Ushers are present at the weekend and Holy Day Masses and other services requested by the Pastor. They welcome and assist all who attend and distribute bulletins and worship aids. They are responsible for collecting the financial contributions from the congregation. They are to be punctual and considered ambassadors of the Parish.
Music Ministry
Provides musical support for the Masses and other liturgies. Choir Members, Cantors, and Instrumentalists are always needed.
Cantor
Cantors lead the congregation in song and prayer
Choir Member
One of the major roles as a choir, is to minister with songs (just like the Levites) so that we can attend to the needs and wants of those who come to worship by use of music. The choir ministry is not for entertainment purposes, solely for prayer.
